Online Scheduling Required For Buffalo, NY Area TN Application Filings

USCBP recently implemented an online scheduling system for the filing of TN visa applications at all Buffalo area U.S. port-of-entries (Peace Bridge, Lewiston/Queenston Bridge, Niagara Falls Rainbow Bridge).

All TN visa application appointment scheduling for the Buffalo, NY area, which was previously completed via phone, must now be done using this online system. Individuals applying for TN visa status must select a USMCA “service” appointment with one of the designated ports. In addition to basic biographical data, the system also requires the applicant to input their occupation, which should be one of the applicable TN occupational categories. The online system is also encouraging applicants to submit their documents in advance to a designated email address. Unfortunately, the system does not indicate what documents should be submitted, but minimally this would include a copy of the applicant’s TN employer support letter.

Hours available for TN visa application appointments for all Buffalo, NY area ports are M - F, 8 AM to 3 PM.
